Porsche 718 GT4 RS / Spyder RS SOUL Race Exhaust Package

DEVELOPMENT:  Borrowing its 4.0-liter flat-six from the 992 GT3 Cup, the 718 GT4 RS came delivered with serious motorsports pedigree. In order to satisfy worldwide regulations and meet production deadlines, certain components of the platform left performance and sound on the table. That’s what we’ve aimed to maximize.

Our Race Exhaust Package tackles the biggest bottlenecks we found in the factory exhaust system, those being the over axle pipes and the rear muffler. The over axle pipes house a redundant cat core along with a particulate filter that is empty on North American cars, allowing for an immediate transformation upon replacement of that component in particular. Our Competition Over Axle Pipes employ oval tubing for a full 3″ diameter and eliminate those corks in the flow to deliver the greatest flow into the rear muffler.

The GT4 RS’ rear muffler is carried over from the standard GT4, restricting the flowpath to the same diameter of the GT4 despite the increased engine output. Our Race Exhaust System utilizes a single flowpath that maintains a 3” diameter all the way through the tips. Our Resonated version with anti-drone tubes helps to reduce unwanted frequencies, while our Non-Resonated version is the ultimate lightweight solution for maximum sound from the GT4 RS.

CONSTRUCTION:  Each system is assembled in house in the USA out of mandrel bent, thick wall .065″” T304L stainless steel. Back purged TIG welding (with ARCAL™ Prime argon gas) ensures proper weld penetration and longevity. Water jet cut flanges are made to ISO 9001:2015 standards with tolerances of +/- 0.003 inches for extreme precision. We fabricate these over axle pipes using thick gauge aluminum fixtures which act as a great heat sink during the welding process and prevent warping not only of our products, but the fixtures themselves to ensure perfect fitment.

BOLT ON AND GO:  Every component is rigorously quality-checked, tested in a fixture to guarantee fitment, and then foam packed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. New high grade hardware is included for installation.

Combining our Competition Over Axle Pipes with our Race Exhaust System eliminates the major bottlenecks in the GT4 RS exhaust flow and extracts the most sound and performance potential for the platform. Owing to the unique oval design of our Over Axle Pipes, this system runs a full 3 inches all the way through, ensuring that the 4.0-liter flat-six realizes its motorsports pedigree in every way.

Exhaust Tip Selection: For those looking to maintain the factory appearance, this system can be used with OEM exhaust tips. However, please note that the OEM tips feature a much smaller diameter inlet, requiring the system to be necked down, which introduces a restriction and reduces overall performance. To extract the most from your GT4 RS, we strongly recommend selecting our high-performance exhaust tips, designed to complement the full 3-inch system without any compromises.

NOTE: Because of the increased output of the GT3-derived engine in 718 RS models, and the additional heat generated as a result, we strongly recommend applying a thermal management solution to Over Axle Pipe products to protect nearby components and body parts.
