The Splash Guards are manufactured by following the ASTM Durability of Nonmetallic Material Standards. In order to reduce the chance of crack and break, we use Reinforced ABS plastic to produce unique parts that are more durable than other comparable products.
***Please note Real Carbon Fiber Products from overseas use an Inferior Topcoat, which is an Non UV Epoxy coating and NOT an automotive grade Clear Coat, during their finishing process
NON UV Exterior parts have no protection against sunlight. Overtime these parts run the high risk of the Carbon fiber lifting, peeling, yellowing and/or delaminating from its substrate. The original surface finish of these parts exhibit surface scratches, fading and other defects/blemishes in the *out of the box* workmanship
Any REAL Carbon Fiber Product, unless otherwise stated, has a Secondary Option to be properly, and professionally, re-prepped by us. This includes but not limited to at least Two (2) Coats of Automotive UV protected clear coat, removal of the existing sub par epoxy topcoat, wet sanding and buffing/polishing, all done in house, prior to leaving the shop
