How To Install
Our Tesla Model 3 spoiler is precision-formed to harmoniously conform to the body style. To install our Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Y rear spoiler, follow these simple steps:
- Clean and dry the exterior surfaces along your trunk's upper/rear edge.
- Do a dry fit. Align the spoiler with your trunk and verify the correct positioning before removing the adhesive backing.
- Remove the adhesive backing, exposing the sticky portion of the 3M double-sided tape. When doing the final placement, it’s best to position the spoiler with the help of another to prevent accidental misalignment.
- Press the spoiler evenly onto the trunk, then apply pressure along the length of the spoiler to promote complete adhesion.
- If desired, a final step of applying painter’s tape along the spoiler's edges overnight can help solidify the adhesive bond.
- For best results, avoid moisture and driving the vehicle for 24 hours. Although the 3M tape bonds immediately, full curing of the adhesive takes a day.
