OEM GM SHOCK CONDITION / WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE

The plastic collars/retainers located around the upper portion of these shocks may appear cracked, split, separated, or irregular. This does NOT indicate that the shock itself is damaged, broken, or defective. These plastic components are supplied by General Motors in this condition/design and their appearance should not be mistaken for shipping damage or product failure.

Additionally, some shocks may appear to have oil, grease, or fluid residue around the upper covered portion of the shock. This is typically lubricant/assembly grease coming from within the covered portion of the assembly as supplied by General Motors and should not automatically be interpreted as a leaking or defective shock.

NO RETURNS / REFUNDS / EXCHANGES: Claims regarding the appearance of the plastic collars/retainers or lubricant/residue described above will not be accepted as a reason for a return, refund, cancellation, or exchange. These shocks are sold and shipped exactly as received from General Motors.

If, after installation, you believe the shock has an actual functional defect or failure, this becomes a manufacturer warranty matter and not a return. New genuine GM parts are generally covered by the applicable GM parts warranty (typically 12 months from purchase, subject to GM's current warranty terms and eligibility requirements). Any warranty diagnosis, determination, approval, replacement, or labor coverage must be handled through an authorized Chevrolet/GM dealer in accordance with GM's warranty procedures.

Performance Corvettes does not make the warranty determination and cannot guarantee that GM will approve a warranty claim. Warranty eligibility and coverage are determined solely by General Motors and/or the servicing authorized dealer.
