RR Racing is home to the world’s first supercharged 911 Carrera, and GT3/RS. Their supercharger kits make up to 250whp over factory specifications, so they know how to get engine oil really HOT! Even naturally aspirated Porsche 9A1 engines found in the Cayman and 911 models run insanely high oil temperatures, easily reaching 300+F. One of the most effective ways of reducing oil temperature is to increase oil capacity. The RR Racing Billet Oil Pan increases oil capacity by a massive 2.5qts. Additional unique features are the side tank baffles which track testing shows a reduction in crankshaft oil windages and oil consumption.
Other benefits of adding oil capacity to your Porsche include reduction in fuel dilution between oil changes which improves lubricity and engine life. In addition to the unique baffles, each oil pan comes complete with an oil sump relocation adapter as well as two magnetic drain plugs. Every RR Racing oil pan is 100% CNC machined in the USA to exacting standard from aerospace grade billet aluminum.
