The DSC Sport Controller expands the dynamic range and rate of response of your factory damper controller, providing both improved track performance and a more comfortable ride on the street. It simply replaces the factory PASM controller with the DSC Sport Plug N Play controller. Like all DSC Sport controllers, the DSC Sport V1 Plug N Play Controller allows users to tune by g-force, brake pressure, acceleration, speed, steering, and control the effective damping range via shock calibration.
DSC features 2 modes, “Normal” and “Sport” which will display on the dash during mode selection. Mode display on the dash in the same way that the factory controller does.
NOTE: The 987.2 platform requires installation of an included DSC Sport 3-axis accelerometer to gather g-force data. Installation takes about one hour to complete and wiring instructions are included.
Yes. DSC Sport spends countless hours testing and tuning before releasing support for any vehicle. Each DSC Sport controller comes from our facility loaded with a calibration file optimized for virtually all users. In most cases, minor suspension modifications, such as lowering springs for example, do not require updating the calibration file.
What are the Advantages of the Standard Map?
- During cornering the front inside damper is always softer to allow climbing up to inside track curbing without upsetting the chassis.
- During hard braking the front damper compression and rear damper rebound increase to help reduce dive to improve front and rear tire grip.
- During initial cornering the damping starts out soft and then stiffen up relative to the amount of g-force to load the tires more progressively.
Yes. Stock Normal mode is 20% stiffness. Stock Sport mode is 80% stiffness. DSC Normal mode is a range of 5% to 100% stiffness. DSC Sport mode is a range of 20% to 100%. DSC is active so it uses those ranges in each mode to the level of load to command individual shocks.
The DSC Sport controller is fully user definable. Download the DSC Sport Tuning Software Installer and follow the installation instructions to access the Tuning Software. From here you can read and edit your current file, write new files to the DSC, datalog, troubleshoot, and more. Check out our Software User Manual for help with navigating the software.

The DSC Sport Controller is a plug-and-play factory replacement controller that provides Dynamic Suspension Control with unlimited tuning capability. Gathering CAN data from the vehicle in real time, DSC Sport sends a signal to each individual corner to control the damping level based on g-force, vehicle speed, brake / throttle input, and more. The result is an active suspension setup that provides more grip to the tire, greater stability and ride control, and increased comfort for all driving styles and road conditions.
